My approach is largely candid and documentary style - Capturing the day as it truly unfolds to be genuine to you. But don’t worry if there’s a pose or 2 on your mind I’ll have youcovered. ou've spent months planning a day that feels genuinely like you. The last thing you need is a photographer who makes it feel like a photo shoot.
I'm Sara : a Calgary-based wedding photographer who's spent ten years in these mountains. I work with couples who've planned a day that feels genuinely like them, and want a photographer who'll move with the day rather than turn it into a photo shoot.
When you book photo and film together, my partner Randy joins as videographer. One booking. One vision. No coordinating separate vendors.
I work with Alberta Wedding couples who want to be fully present, trust their vendors, and know their story will be documented with care. From our first conversation to final delivery, I’m your primary point of contact, photographer, and guide through the experience. When video is part of your collection, I bring along a trusted filmmaking partner so everything feels cohesive, natural, and easy (or if you want 2 photographers, we do that too - less shopping.. more fun!)

How I Approach Your Wedding Day:
I am here to guide but let you be the driver. You can have as many consultations as you need.
Documentation is done thoughtfully, with a candid approach so you can live your day out versus preform.
You will have previews within 24hours to relive some of your favourite moments.
Whether you book just myself or us as a team, we come to your day as a calm, but fun and caring part of your day. We are just people and don’t believe in awkward.
About Me.
I’m Sara, and I photograph weddings and elopements with a deep appreciation for nature, connection, and the in-between moments that matter most.
I’m your primary point of contact and creative lead throughout the entire process. When couples choose to include film, I collaborate with my trusted partner (IRL and business) who shares my approach that’s unobtrusive, intentional, and story-driven.
Together, we create a seamless photo + video experience that feels natural, calm, and true to your day.

01. Inquire with us
First, fill out our form on our contact page and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can (usually within 24 hours, unless I am on a mountain).
We will then find a time that works to have a video call (local? Let’s grab coffee!) so w can talk more about your day and get to know each other! I’d love to hear more about your wedding day.

02.Book with us
Once your date is determined and you want to work together, we will book you in! To secure your date, pay your 20% retainer fee and e-sign the contract and then you’re officially booked in!! Woo

03. Get married with us!
Well, we can’t wait to be a part of your day! I will send you my wedding welcome guide and then typically reach out 1 month before your big day(s)! If you want to chat before that though, reach out anytime. Once your day(s) is done, I will work hard to get your photos (and video if you’re doing both) within 8 weeks. Dont worry, you’ll get sneak peeks within 48 hours. Want a custom album to relive the day? Just let me know.
There aren’t enough words to say about Sara and Randy! From the very beginning, you made us feel comfortable and at ease, and that truly shows in the photos. You captured not just how the day looked, but how it felt. The love, laughter, and all the little moments we’ll cherish forever. Unfortunately it rained the day off but Sara and Randy braved through the terrible weather as we still wanted to have our ceremony outside. For weddings, I recommend 8-12 months out in advance. To see if I have your date, you can always send me an inquiry!

First I like to arrange a complimentary consult through my inquiry form. After we chat, to secure your date I require a signed contract, your 20% non refundable retainer!
Interac e-transfer and credit card are the methods of payment.

Every couple is different, and although our packages are bases- it is important to us we tailor it to your specific needs. Please get in touch and we can discuss what is best for you! While we love being there all day- we can certainly chat more based on your special day. Start by dreaming up and drawing out your day and what you would hate to miss being documented years down the road.
